Services in Dubai
Bus Services
are relatively new to Dubai. The Dubai
Municipality operates
the 'Dubai Transport' bus service within
Dubai and the Inter-Emirates. The buses
operated have 3 different seating capacity-
16, 28 and 50 seats. These buses are allotted
to a route based on passenger traffic.
The service is quite a hit with office goers
thanks to its low fares, punctual service,
organised routes, clean interiors. If you
have travelled in one of these buses, you
possibly don't need any description of this
service. The air-conditioned, Volvo make
buses are relatively safe to travel. The
doors operated by the bus driver, and the
route name is displayed on the LCD panel
inside the bus. With growing number of bus
routes, the bus will be seen as a popular
means of public transport in Dubai.
