Landmarks of Dubai

Dubai 's impressive skyline is dotted with shimmering glass and mortar. The new-age edifices lend a trendy look to the port city . Architecturally speaking, some edifices of Dubai are worth raving about and paint a distinctive picture of a city that is crowned with more sobriquets than any other city in the middle-east. Burj Al Arab & Emirates Towers, the city's newest additions will probably go into the books as landmarks that put Dubai on the world map.

Jumeira Mosque

One of the original landmarks of the city, this edifice wears a sixties look but still carries itself majestically amidst the spurt of new structures that have changed the face of Dubai.
