wadi of compact sand and occasional puddles of
water after the flood. This wadi is carrying the
flood water from Hajar mountains to the desert.
Lush greenery with variety of plant species including
blooming shrubs and flowers after the flood. Sodom'
Apple - a large poisonous shrub with white and
pink flowers can be seen in abundance. Colorful
birds, insects and reptiles make the visit especially
interesting. Often herds of camels visit the wadi.

with mysterious contrast of barren land on one
side and lush greenery on the other. The Wadi
is surrounded by lush plantations which include

watching. Large colorful birds like parrots have
been spotted here. The Village has traditional
houses, falaj, crystal clear water pools hidden
in the rocks in the end of the wadi.

Wadi
Sharm has a wide body gravel bed with running
water most of the time. The wadi is ideal for
pickinicking but finding this place will a little
tough without a guide with you. There is a falaj
(irrigation pipe)running along the wall of the
wadi into the palm groves rising above the edge
of the wadi bed.
